Whats the use in crying?

I don't find it coincidence that the lyrics to the song that has gotten me through the toughest times in my life, is the favorite of Michael Jackson... an all time great, and one of moms favorites... also who happened to pass away just an hour before she did. I don't believe in irony, coincidence, or circumstance. Things are all placed in a divine order. And in some way or another, even before she died, Mama was speaking to me through these words. So yeah, they are embedded in my heart and in my mind. And I can often hear her speaking them (not singing... she was a horrible singer :))

They say a smile can change the darkest of clouds into sunshine and rainbows. I don't know about that... But it does make the rest of the world stop asking you if you're ok every 10 minutes... and it beats the shit out of your makeup smearing because of tears...

Smile, though your heart is aching,
Smile, Even though it's breaking,
When there are clouds in the sky- You'll get by,
If you
Smile, through your fear and sorrow,
Smile, and maybe tomorrow
You'll find that life is still worthwhile,
If you just
SMILE
Light up your face with gladness,
Hide every trace of sadness,
Although a tear may be ever so near,
That's the time you must keep on trying,
Smile, What's the use of crying,
You'll find that life is still worthwhile,
If you just
SMILE
~~ Charlie Chaplin
